Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile.
• Answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully.
• Maintain patient records per HIPAA.
• Support retention and scheduling calls.
• Maintain inventory and ensure neat exam rooms.
• Provide coaching on care and handling of contact lenses.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of the workspace.
• Assist retail as capacity allows.
