America's Best, part of National Vision, is hiring an Optometric Technician to support patient flow with pre-screenings and testing before the Doctor’s examination. Training is provided and no prior certification is required. You will work Monday through Saturday with Sundays off.

This role supports high-quality patient care, accurate pretests, and collaboration with the optometrist to ensure efficient visits. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Competenze

• Retail/optical experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to learn optical knowledge.
• Explain procedures clearly to customers.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking ability.

Mansioni

• Ensure high quality patient care.
• Maintain professional atmosphere and pretest room.
• Explain ocular terminology and preliminary examinations.
• Complete paperwork and testing prior to doctor examination.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings.
• Review prescriptions and coordinate with optician/doctor as needed.
• Maintain equipment for doctor and pre-test areas.
