Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience in optometry/healthcare.
• Knowledge of optical and medical terminology essential.
• Understanding of pre-exam testing and diagnostic procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in fast-paced env.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams, manage records, support patient flow.
• Perform tests to aid optometrist in vision examinations including acuity, depth and color perception, retinal imaging.
• Ensure accurate documentation and HIPAA-compliant record keeping.
• Support contact lens exams and orders, including inventory and patient orders.
• Operate POS system and handle sales transactions per standards.
• Maintain equipment hygiene and assist with clinical workflows.
• Flexible schedule incl. weekends/evenings.
