You'll conduct preliminary evaluations, assist with diagnostic testing, manage appointment schedules, maintain electronic health records, and help with clerical tasks, while upholding HIPAA and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School or GED qualification.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-exam testing and other duties in support of the optometrist.
• Schedule referrals and manage appointment flow.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Assist with diagnostic testing and clerical tasks as needed.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding medication and care.
