Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and support eye care delivery. You will ensure high-quality patient care and team collaboration during and after exams.

The role emphasizes facilitating patient flow, accurate data handling, and prompt service in a retail-optometry setting. Training, a friendly environment, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and display a professional image.
• Answer the telephone promptly in a friendly manner.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients for exams.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with care; consult when necessary.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and organize files efficiently.
• Input patient data and fees using the CIAO system.
• Support retention of exams through follow-up calls and reminders.
• Assist with contact lens orders and room maintenance.
• Ensure safe working environment and assist in retail as needed.
