Job summary

LensCrafters in Champaign, IL is seeking a Full-Time store-based role to partner with the OD to deliver high-quality optometric care and drive store KPIs. You will help manage patient flow, greet patients, and handle phone inquiries while ensuring HIPAA-compliant record-keeping and a positive patient experience.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in patient-facing roles, strong leadership and communication skills, and a focus on detail and organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience.
• Patient service oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Good problem solving and time management skills.
• Strong sales and communication abilities.
• Ability to listen well and communicate clearly.
• Able to manage time effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure associate behaviors exceed OD NPS, patient retention, exam and contact lens growth.
• Communicate importance of annual eye exams and TAB performance.
• Attract new patients to the practice.
• Lead through the OD labor model and optimize patient flow for a positive experience.
• Greet patients with a genuine positive attitude on entry.
• Promptly answer the telephone in a friendly manner.
• Explain required paperwork, tests, insurance benefits and timelines.
• Assist in scheduling reminders and manage patient data in TAB.
