Job summary

Visionworks in Goodyear, AZ, is seeking an Optometric Assistant to be the friendly face of our exam practice and guide patients through the Visionworks experience. You will be trained in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, and vision care products/services.

Responsibilities include handling patient records, introducing patients to the OD, and smooth handoffs to the sales floor while supporting daily store operations and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records before preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
