Visionworks of America, Inc. seeks a Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant in New York to support on-site and remote examinations. You will prepare patients, perform pre-exam tests, and clearly explain each step of the process to patients.

The role acts as a liaison between patients and Optometrists, documents results in EMR, and supports both in-person and remote eye assessments. Training provided; opportunities to grow with the team.

Formación

• One year of related experience.
• Optical or Healthcare background preferred.
• Medical office/business professionalism required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Complete patient registration and submit medical history and ocular data into EMR.
• Assist onsite doctor with patient care and eye examinations; document results in EMR.
• Assist remote eye exams: pre-testing, testing, and video conferencing setup.
• Transition patients to a retail associate with doctor recommendations.
• Maintain patient flow and answer clinical questions; schedule exams.
