Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $11.09-$14.97 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring the best possible experience for every patient. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their vision care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a human, simple, and bold way.

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
2. Introducing patients to the OD and providing essential patient information
3. Transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor and assisting associates with product and service recommendations
4. Supporting daily operational activities such as restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet patient needs

Qualifications:

• Related customer or patient experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience
