Pay Type: Part Time, 20 - 29 hours

Pay Range: $17.80 - $26.70 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best possible experience for every patient. This role involves being trained in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their vision care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a human, simple, and confident manner.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information.
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services.
• Support daily operational activities, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.
