Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $11.09 - $14.97 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for every patient. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their vision care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information.
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing staff with necessary information to recommend suitable products and services.
• Support daily operational activities, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Related customer or patient service experience preferred, but not required.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
