Pay Details:

Type: Part Time

Range: $13.70 - $18.47 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring a positive experience for every patient. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patients to the OD and relay important patient information.
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend suitable products and services.
• Support daily operational activities, including restocking inventory, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to meet patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience.
