Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $13.70 - $18.47 per hour

The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring a positive experience for every patient. This role involves training in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their eye care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing staff with necessary information to recommend products and services
• Support daily operational activities such as restocking, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
