Job summary

Group One Trading, LP is seeking a hands-on Trade Support Associate to join our New York office. You will support options traders using our proprietary software, monitor real-time trading, and ensure smooth issue resolution while collaborating with traders and other departments.

The ideal candidate combines strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, and has a background in finance or related fields.

Qualifications

• College degree and/or 1–2 years relevant work experience.
• Ability to learn and retain knowledge of proprietary support tools and trading software.
• Client service experience and strong communication skills.
• Self-driven, but able to ask for help early and often.
• Mentor interns while fostering employee engagement and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the lifecycle of equity and options trades from execution through settlement.
• Support traders with trade allocations, corrections, and position adjustments.
• Escalate production issues affecting trading systems or market connectivity.
• Collaborate with technology teams to troubleshoot trading platform issues.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
