Veterans Canteen Service seeks an experienced Health Tech (Optician) to support optical shops at Hemet VA Medical Center. You will coordinate optical operations and liaise with eye clinic providers and prosthetics teams to deliver quality service to Veterans.

Requirements include certification by the State Board of Opticianry, minimum 1 year experience, and ability to work independently, perform prescription interpretation, and ensure optical verification and quality assurance using standard

• Must be certified by the State Board of Opticianry.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an Optician.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate optical operations and act as liaison between VCS, eye clinic providers and prosthetics teams.
• Identify prescription discrepancies and take corrective action to ensure accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Verify optics, transitions, and frame alignment; ensure proper segment height and center accuracy.
