Job summary

AEG Vision is hiring an Optician in Charlotte, Michigan to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, ensure proper fit and measurements, and interpret prescriptions with accuracy while maintaining patient relationships.

You will work with technicians and doctors, update patients on orders, and educate customers on insurance coverage, warranties, and lens options within a friendly team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA preferred.
• PC skills including MS Office and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient experiences and explain product recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and treatments.
• Update patients on order status and resolve issues promptly.
• Interpret prescriptions and enter data into EHR/ALE accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
