Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• 1 year experience as an Optician preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• HIPAA knowledge a plus; good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and accessories.
• Ensure proper frame fit, measurements, and lens dispensing.
• Explain product options and insurance coverage to patients.
• Maintain accurate records in EHR and ALE systems.
• Communicate with technicians and managers on orders and status.
• Keep up to date on products, rebates, and lenses available.
