Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit claims to vision care providers (VSP, EyeMed, Spectera).
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits prior to services.
• Review and process optical billing information accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, billing codes, and regulations.
• Collaborate with optical staff and insurance companies to ensure smooth billing operations.
• Maintain accurate records of billing activities and patient accounts.
