Job summary

Eoptolink Technology Inc. seeks an Optical Transceivers Customer Support Engineer to join our US team in Fremont, CA.

You will serve as the primary contact for North American customers, providing technical support and coordinating with R&D teams to resolve complex issues. Responsibilities include facilitating product evaluations, demos, and interoperability testing with switches, routers, and servers, and preparing documentation to support customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optics, or a related field.
• Knowledge of optical communication, transceivers, or high-speed networking.
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet, I²C/MDIO, PRBS/BERT testing, or optical measurement equipment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for US customers on optical transceiver products (100G/400G+).
• Provide technical support, analyze issues, and coordinate with R&D teams for resolution.
• Understand customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions.
• Assist with product evaluations, demos, and interoperability testing with switches, routers, and servers.
• Prepare technical documentation, FAQs, and application notes.
