Clarkson Eyecare, Inc. is seeking an Optical Technician to deliver a world-class Total Patient Experience, dispensing glasses and contacts per prescriptions from Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. You will help patients select frames, measure accurately, and coordinate eyewear with clinical needs.

The role emphasizes patient interaction, medical support, and sales alignment within a fast-paced retail optical environment. Competitive base pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office environment preferred, ophthalmic exposure valued.
• At least 1 year in a customer/patient-facing role.
• ABO/NCLE certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and implement Total Patient Experience to build relationships with patients while delivering medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, facial measurements, and prescriptions.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer to ensure accurate prescriptions.
• Educate and recommend specific lenses, coatings, and frames to match patient needs.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders and repair frames as needed.
