Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optical Technician in Tucson, AZ (Marana office) to dispense and fit glasses and contacts per prescriptions. You will help patients select frames, perform measurements, and ensure a world-class Total Patient Experience while supporting medical needs.

The position requires HIPAA compliance, customer service experience, and comfort with optical instruments. Benefits are provided and hours vary by location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a role interacting with customers/patients.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support.
• Determine patients' wants and needs and sell to exceed their expectations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and measurements; coordinate frames with prescriptions.
• Operate the auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate and recommend lenses, coatings and frames to suit patient needs.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders in E360.
