The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and coordination of patient services, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, reports, and training while supporting a high-performing team across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Optical and contact lens experience preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Computer skills and good oral communication required.
• Strong leadership background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the optical and contact lens department.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and expertise to all staff.
• Document annual evaluations through quarterly discussions with each employee.
• Hire, terminate, and assign staff as needed.
• Orient new employees and ensure on-the-job training.
• Communicate organization activities to staff and maintain high-performance standards.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and insurance administration processes.
• Maximize insurance submissions and coordinate daily/weekly reports.
• Attend trainings and lead staff meetings.
