Job summary

Optical Outlets is seeking a Office Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of an optical office in Tampa. The role focuses on supervising staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining office efficiency and customer relations.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with at least two years of leadership experience in a business setting, preferably in optical. Bonuses/commissions may be part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a business-related environment.
• Optical experience preferred.
• Proven track record in leading overall team performance and understanding of optometric business processes.
• Ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop staff.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control office operations to align with company policies and procedures.
• Train new hires for various positions within Optical Outlets offices.
• Maintain product, equipment, and supplies; inform District Manager of trends and needs.
• Manage payroll, overtime, supplies, and maintenance within budget.
• Handle patient/customer relations and follow up on complaints.
