Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, seeks a General Manager to lead a busy optical retail store in the Tucson area. You will drive results, manage staff, and ensure exceptional patient care and customer service from opening to close.

You will oversee daily operations, budgets, and merchandising, while coaching associates to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience including staffing, budgeting, and operations.
• ABO & NCLE certification is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and enforcing company policies.
• Lead, train, and develop associates through coaching and feedback.
• Monitor store performance and guide associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Partner with the Doctor to ensure high-level patient care.
• Conduct store audits and uphold quality, merchandising, and service standards.
• Maintain open communication with the District Manager and provide accurate reporting.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
