Job summary

National Vision’s Eyeglass World store is seeking an Optical Specialist who delivers warm, personalized service, guides customers through eyewear selection and fitting, and ensures quality in the finishing and pickup of orders. You will support pre-exam and in-store flow while upholding brand standards.

Ideal applicants have at least 1 year in optical or retail, good communication, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service (Required).
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills (Required).
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (Required).
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (Required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience.
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks.
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand aligned handoff.
