Job summary

National Vision is seeking an Optical Specialist to provide exceptional customer service in Eyeglass World. You will guide customers through eyewear selection, ensure precise fittings, and deliver polished handoffs from order to pickup, while supporting in-store flow and finishing excellence.

With 1+ year experience in optical, retail, or customer service, you will multitask across tasks, educate customers, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service (Required).
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills (Required).
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (Required).
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (Required).

Responsibilities

• Create an Exceptional Customer Experience and deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists.
• Help ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments.
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks.
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand-aligned handoffs.
