Job summary

Shopko Optical in Hutchinson, MN seeks a Full-time Optical Sales Associate to deliver excellent customer and patient service in eyewear selection, ordering and dispensing. On-the-job training is provided with no prior experience required.

Responsibilities include pre-screening for exams, lab work orders, medical billing, and maintaining frame inventory while assisting patients with fittings and lens options.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Maintain license as required by state.
• Complete Shopko OCE Certification requirements.
• Previous optical dispensing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service in the selection, ordering and dispensing of eyewear.
• Complete pre-screening activities prior to patient exams and prepare work orders for Optical Lab.
• Process medical billing information and maintain frame inventory.
• Assist patients with frame repairs, adjustments and contact lens care.
• Support Optometrist with case histories and screenings.
