Job summary

Shopko Optical in Dilworth, MN is seeking a Full-time Optical Sales Associate. You will provide excellent patient and customer service in selecting, ordering and dispensing eyewear, with on-the-job training provided and no experience necessary.

Responsibilities include assisting with frame choices, processing orders, and supporting the Optometrist with case histories and screenings. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Maintain license as required by state.
• Shopko OCE Certification or equal training.
• Previous experience in an office and/or optical dispensing is preferred.
• Able to handle multiple customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service according to company and Optical Center standards.
• Recommend lenses, coatings and frames to satisfy patient needs.
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on style and measurements.
• Order and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally.
• Assist patients with frame repairs and adjustments.
• Instruct patients on contact lens care and usage.
• Assist Optometrist with case histories and screenings.
