Job summary

Eyeglass World is looking for a part-time Sales Associate - Optical Specialist to deliver friendly, professional service while guiding customers through eyewear choices and fittings. You will support the in-store flow, assist with screenings, and maintain brand standards to ensure an elevated customer experience.

The role requires at least a High School Diploma and 1+ year in optical, retail, sales, or customer service, with an emphasis on accuracy, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists.
• Help ensure smooth transitions between exam, finish, and pickup moments.
• Serve as a calm, knowledgeable presence throughout the customer journey.
• Perform finishing work including final adjustments, inspections and quality checks.
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver polished, brand-aligned handoff.
• Model Eyeglass World service standards, tone, and behaviors in every interaction.
• Uphold visual, experiential, and operational brand standards in the store.
• Partner with the store team to deliver a consistent and elevated experience.
