Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead in Towson, MD for part-time work. The role drives the Customer/Patient Experience journey, mentors staff, and ensures eyewear meets eye care needs with product knowledge and excellent service.

Training, daily sales goals, and attention to merchandising are key. Ideal candidates have optical experience or ABO certification, strong customer service, and HS diploma.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required or ABO certification
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship
