Job summary

Shopko Optical in Little Falls, MN seeks a Full-time Optician to provide excellent patient and customer service in the selection, ordering and dispensing of eyewear, while performing pre-screening activities and preparing work orders for the Optical Lab.

On-the-job training is provided and no experience is required. The role also involves processing medical billing, maintaining frame inventory and supporting teammates to meet company standards.

Qualifications

• Maintain license as required by State.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Shopko OCE Certification requirements and calendar modules.
• Previous experience in an office and/or optical dispensing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service according to company and Optical Center standards.
• Analyze patient eyewear needs and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and ensuring proper fit with prescriptions.
• Order and dispense eyewear accurately and perform repairs/adjustments.
• Support optical lab operations and assist with case histories and screenings.
