Job summary

Shopko Optical in Fergus Falls, MN is seeking a Full-time Optical Sales Associate to join our team. This role focuses on excellent patient and customer service, eyewear selection, ordering and dispensing.

On-the-job training is provided; no prior experience is required. The position includes competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth within the optical center.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Maintain license as required by state
• Shopko OCE Certification requirements and calendar modules
• Previous office/optical dispensing experience preferred
• Able to handle multiple customer interactions/phone calls
• Able to analyze prescriptions and frame adjustments

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and patient service according to standards
• Analyze eyewear needs and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames
• Assist patients in selecting frames and ensure proper measurements
• Order and dispense eyewear accurately and professionally
• Assist with frame repairs, adjustments and contact lenses
• Support Optometrist with case histories and screenings
• Process medical billing information and maintain inventory
