Eyemart Express is seeking a part-time Optical Retail Sales Associate to help patients select frames, lenses, and coatings that best fit their needs. You will assist with sales, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and excellent service.

The role emphasizes flexibility in scheduling and a balance between work and personal life, with a focus on delivering quality eyewear at great prices across the network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
• Optical industry experience preferred but training is available.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Process payment transactions and refunds.
• Process insurance claims efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products.
• Create and maintain patient files following HIPAA and company policies.
• Assess and interpret patient needs and wants.
• Take necessary measurements.
• Prepare work orders for the lab.
• Pull correct lenses according to work orders.
• Inspect final product for accuracy.
• Assist with adjustments and repairs of frames.
• Price, stock, and straighten merchandise.
