Qualifications

• 1 year of optical experience.
• 1 year of experience in a retail store.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior sales experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Verify prescriptions against doctor orders and maintain files.
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone.
• Interpret prescriptions, measure, and recommend frames and lenses.
• Manage order fulfillment and process all sales transactions.
• Perform eyewear fittings and repairs for proper fit.
• Operate optical equipment per company procedures.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Assist Optical Manager with opening/closing and POS tasks.
• Foster positive relationships with store leadership and staff.
• Keep the optical department clean and organized.
