Qualifications

• A degree in optical engineering, physics, photonics, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Strong foundation in optics and practical product development.
• Hands-on experience through industry, research, internships or significant projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop optical products: design and improve lenses, TIR optics, diffusers, light guides and assemblies for LED systems.
• Solve customer challenges: understand requirements, recommend solutions and support from concept through evaluation.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales and product teams across Fusion Optix and the 3LED Group.
• Build, test and learn: develop prototypes, run experiments and measure beam distribution, efficiency and color.
• Connect simulation with reality: use optical modeling and lab measurements to guide improvements.
• Bring products to market: contribute to specs, application notes, test reports and documentation.
• Explore new opportunities: investigate technologies and applications for optics and lighting.
