You’ll contribute from concept to prototype, build, test, and iterate designs, and help ensure product performance and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in optical system design and manufacturing preferred.
• Proficient with SolidWorks and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical components, assemblies and systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses (stress, thermal, tolerance).
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing and assembly.
• Collaborate with electrical and optical engineers to integrate designs into complete systems.
• Support prototype builds, testing and troubleshooting to ensure product performance.
• Evaluate materials and manufacturing processes for cost-effectiveness and reliability.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support to production and quality teams during product launch and lifecycle.
