Insight Global is seeking an Optical Engineer to support the development of high-performance Directed Energy and Electro-Optical Systems in Albuquerque, NM. You will help develop requirements for communications, sensors, EW and electromagnetic systems, and assist in integrating components into larger platforms.

• Active TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility.
• 1+ year of related electro-optics experience.
• Education or work experience in Electro-Optics.
• Experience with EO design/analysis using Zemax or CodeV.
• Experience with EO/IR systems and optical communications.
• BS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical) or related fields.
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate on multi-discipline teams.
• Willingness to relocate to Albuquerque, NM.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing and validating requirements for EO/EM systems.
• Conduct trade studies, modeling, and simulations to optimize designs.
• Support lifecycle activities from manufacturing to customer use, including issue resolution.
• Prepare sections of proposals to support development of new business.
