AEG Vision is seeking a part-time Optical Consultant in Casa Grande, AZ to support Optometrists and enhance patient care. You will perform preliminary evaluations, conduct patient interviews, and assist with scheduling referrals and documentation within HIPAA-compliant records.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to handle a fast-paced clinic environment while maintaining high service standards for patients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary evaluations of patients prior to exam by the Optometrist (e.g., dilation, topicals, diagnostic meds, Optomap, auto refractor, visual acuity).
• Conduct verbal interview with patient before Optometrist visit to determine medical issues and reasons for visit.
• Schedule referrals to Ophthalmologists or follow-up visits and complete required paperwork.
