Advanced Eye Care is seeking an Optical Consultant to join our team and support optometrists in delivering exceptional patient care. Qualifikationen

• High School or GED required; ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of optician experience preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA compliance preferred.
• Proficient PC skills including MS Office, Windows, and word processing.

Aufgaben

• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings according to needs.
• Explain recommendations and educate patients on care, warranty, and services.
• Take and follow up on patient calls; track orders and resolve issues.
• Enter prescriptions into the EHR/ALE system and maintain charts.
• Maintain product knowledge on lenses, frames, rebates, and insurance basics.
• Communicate with technicians and managers to obtain order status.
• Ensure final eyewear fit, comfort, and proper adjustments.
