Job summary

Shopko Optical in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a General Manager - Bench to lead our optical team within the metro area. You will drive merchandise, patient care, and customer service excellence while partnering with the Optometrist to achieve business goals.

You'll hire, train, and coach teammates, manage performance, and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations. Competitive wages, benefits, and on-the-job training are offered.

Qualifications

• ABO/Shopko OCE Certification required within 12 months of hire/promotion
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 3 years of leadership experience or equivalent management experience with strong customer service focus
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build relationships in a professional environment
• Able to direct and motivate a diverse teammate network
• Able to analyze financial data, recognize opportunities for improvement and formulate plans to address

Responsibilities

• Lead team to maximize sales, profit and customer service objectives
• Supervise optical operations including dispensing eyewear and patient care
