Job summary

You will supervise the optical team, ensure high service standards, manage measurements and fittings under optometric supervision, maintain HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with labs and doctors to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of college or equivalent experience.
• Active ABO certification and licensure as required.
• Retail supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong customer-service and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage merchandising and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead department sales growth through merchandising, pricing accuracy, inventory oversight, and seasonal execution.
• Forecast sales trends and align assortments with member needs and local demographics.
• Set high service standards and resolve member inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Oversee optical measurements, fittings, and education under supervision while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Coach and develop the optical team, plan staffing, and support credential renewals.
• Coordinate with labs, suppliers, and optometrists on orders and corrective actions.
