Qualifications

• Option 1: Completion of 2 or more years of college.
• Option 2: 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
• Option 3: 2 years' general work experience, including 1 year's optical experience and high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Meets eligibility to work in the Vision Center, including minimum age and ABO certification.

Responsibilities

• Leads department sales growth through effective merchandising, pricing accuracy, inventory oversight, and seasonal execution.
• Forecasts sales trends and aligns product assortments with customer needs, community demographics, and local economic patterns.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant documentation and prompt resolution of customer inquiries.
• Oversees eyewear measurements, fittings, adjustments under applicable optometric supervision.
• Coordinates with labs, suppliers, and optometrists regarding orders and product updates.
• Leads, coaches, and develops optical team through training and recognition.
