Job summary

Walmart York Optics is seeking an experienced optical department leader to drive sales and ensure top-tier service. You will oversee merchandising, pricing accuracy, inventory, fittings, and patient education while maintaining HIPAA compliance and safety protocols.

You will coach staff, manage scheduling, and coordinate with labs and optometrists to support patient care and store targets. A background in optical services and supervisory roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of college completes requirements for the role.
• Retail supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience in optical services and eyewear is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leads department sales growth through effective merchandising, pricing and inventory oversight.
• Forecasts sales trends and aligns product assortments with customer needs and local demographics.
• Oversees precise eyewear measurements, fittings, and contact lens education under supervision.
