Job summary

Shopko Optical is seeking a General Manager - Bench to lead our optical teams and drive sales, service and financial performance. You will supervise dispensing eyewear, patient care and store operations while partnering with the Optometrist to deliver excellent care.

This role requires strong leadership, training capabilities, and a focus on maintaining compliance with HR policies and applicable laws. On-the-job training and certification opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• ABO/Shopko OCE certification within 12 months of hire/promotion.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 3 years of leadership or equivalent management experience with strong customer service.
• Optician experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to maximize sales, profit and customer service objectives.
• Hire, train, coach and manage performance of team.
• Partner with Optometrist to drive business and patient care results.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and state/federal laws.
