Job summary

Shopko Optical in Wisconsin is seeking a Store Supervisor to assist the General Manager in daily operations, including dispensing eyewear, patient care, and achieving financial targets.

You will lead a team, participate in hiring and training, and cover the GM’s duties when absent. The role offers competitive wages, 401K with match, vacation and well-being benefits, and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• ABO/Shopko OCE Certification required.
• Optician experience desired.
• Supervisory experience with strong customer service focus (preferably in an optical store or retail setting).
• Able to analyze financial data, recognize opportunities for improvement and formulate actions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in day-to-day store operations.
• Dispense eyewear and provide patient care.
• Set performance goals and deliver financial results.
• Assist with hiring, training, coaching and performance management.
• Lead the team in the General Manager’s absence.
