Job summary

Shopko Optical Waunakee in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated store leader to support the General Manager in daily operations, oversee dispensing eyewear, patient care, and drive sales and financial performance.

You will assist with hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating teammates, managing scheduling, and leading the team in the General Manager’s absence while delivering exceptional customer service to the community.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ABO/Shopko OCE Certification required.
• Prior optician or retail supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in daily store operations.
• Dispense eyewear and provide patient care.
• Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Lead store team in General Manager’s absence.
• Drive sales, margins, and financial results.
