Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must obtain ABO certification within 15 months.
• Must meet state licensure requirements to become apprentice/licensed optician; licensure within 18 months.
• Experience in retail or health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock and merchandise in Optical area and operate POS.
• Measure pupillary distance and lens wear position.
• Assist with eyewear orders, repairs, and fittings.
• Educate members on eye care and lens usage.
