Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Must obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Must meet state licensure requirements to become apprentice or licensed optician.

Responsibilities

• Stock and merchandise displays; maintain optical area.
• Process member transactions and payments via POS system.
• Educate members on eyewear usage and care; assist with contact lens care.
• Measure pupillary distance and frame fit; perform frame adjustments and repairs.
• Process eyewear and contact lens orders and manage inventory.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and proper documentation.
