Job summary

Carolina Centers for Sight is seeking a motivated team member for the optical department. You will assist patients with frame and lens selections, process lens orders, file insurance claims, and ensure final lab work meets quality standards.

Optical experience is required; ABO certification is preferred but not mandatory. Some travel to other offices may be required, and overtime could be necessary to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Optical experience required.
• ABO certification preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with selection of frames, lenses and treatments.
• Order lenses from the lab.
• File insurance claims.
• Conduct final inspection of lab work before notifying patient.
• Return and track returns for inventory purposes.
• Process invoices for payment.
