Job summary

Clemson Eye, an affiliate of Eye Health America, is seeking an Optical Department team member in Greenville. Optical experience is required; ABO certification is preferred. Travel to other offices may be required and overtime could be necessary.

A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered, paid in installments at 3, 6, and 12 months. You will assist patients with frame and lens selections, order lenses from the lab, file insurance claims, and inspect lab work before notifying patients.

Qualifications

• Optical experience is required for this role.
• Travel to other offices may be required.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients and customers with the selection of frames, lenses, and lens treatments.
• Ordering lenses from the lab.
• Filing insurance claims.
• Final inspection of lab work prior to notifying patient that their order is ready.
• Return and track returns for inventory purposes.
• Processing invoices for payment.
